This dataset contains survey responses on English educators’ use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in instructional contexts. It includes professional background variables (years of teaching experience, institution type, and grade level).
Survey items were adapted from validated instruments, including the University of Maryland 2024 Campus-wide GenAI Survey (Masters et al., 2024), the Big Five Inventory (Openness to Experience; John & Srivastava, 1999), the Proactive Personality Scale (Bateman & Crant, 1993), and the New General Self-Efficacy Scale (Chen et al., 2001). Most items use Likert scales, along with some multiple-response questions.
Data were collected via an online survey between November 2024 and October 2025. Participation was voluntary, and responses were anonymized.
