Two-third of postnatal cortical thymic epithelial cells (cTECs) are derived from cells that previously transcribed the chemokine ligand Ccl21a. To characterize cTECs that previously transcribed Ccl21a and those that did not, we performed deep-sequencing analysis of these cTECs.
