Stress response of a marine ammonia-oxidizing archaeon N. zosterae NM25 to hydrogen peroxide

It is necessary for almost isolated ammonia-oxidizing archaeon to supplement hydrogen peroxide scavenger into the culture medium, because marine ammonia-oxidizing archaea are known to lack the gene for catalase, which is scavenger at higher hydrogen peroxide concentrations. For understand the transcriptomics responses for the hydrogen peroxide stress, RNA-Seq was used from two distinct conditions, without hydrogen peroxide scavenger or with hydrogen peroxide scavenger as the control.
