Supervisory Arrangements, Employment and Cash Benefits in Families, spring 2002

The survey on "Supervisory Arrangements, Employment and Cash Benefits in Families, spring 2002" was conducted by Statistics Norway for the Ministry of Children and Equality.

The purpose of the survey is to describe the behaviour of families with young children, choices and attitudes on arenas that are affected by the introduction of cash benefits, as well as to give a broad overview of the use of, and the desire for, various supervisory arrangements for children in general.

There have previously been carried out two similar surveys in 1998 and 1999 that had more focus on the cash benefits scheme and its effect. In this survey there is far less focus on the effect of cash benefits and more focus on parents' use of various benefits.
