HoneyShip: Data from a Maritime VSAT Honeypot and Open Internet Reconnaissance

This dataset supports the research presented in the paper "HoneyShip: Unveiling Cyber Threats to Maritime VSAT Systems with a High-Interaction Honeypot." It includes Shodan and Nmap scans of exposed VSAT systems, and logs from a high-interaction honeypot emulating a Cobham Sea Tel terminal. Data is anonymized (IP/domain hashes) and categorized by source (e.g., HTTP, Suricata alerts, honeypot interaction logs). The dataset aids maritime cybersecurity threat intelligence and supports the reproducibility of our published results.
