This dataset contains the final mitochondrial 16S rRNA sequence alignment and phylogenetic tree files used in the taxonomic reassessment of Rana montivaga Smith, 1921 and its transfer to the genus Odorrana. The dataset includes 69 ingroup and three outgroup sequences, the Maximum Likelihood tree inferred using IQ-TREE, and the Bayesian consensus tree inferred using MrBayes.
