Biogeochemical and Spectral Attenuation Data for Coastal and Estuarine Waters (June 2022 - August 2023)

This dataset contains biogeochemical measurements, raw target reflectance data, and derived spectral attenuation coefficients collected from various coastal and estuarine stations (including Warnemünde, Schnatermann, Rerik, and others) between June 2022 and August 2023. The data was compiled to analyse optical properties and water quality parameters in these regions. The dataset is split into three primary files: Station Biogeochemical Dataset: Contains metadata (coordinates, date, optical classification) and biogeochemical measurements (Chl-a, Phaeo, TSM, aCDOM, Secchi depth) for each station. Raw Target Reflectance (Rrs): Contains depth-resolved, hyperspectral remote sensing reflectance data. Note that negative values resulting from noise or instrument error have been removed and replaced with NA. Derived Spectral Attenuation Data: Contains the calculated spectral attenuation coefficients (Keff, K0) derived from the reflectance measurements for each sample.
