Self-paced reading data and analysis repository for When gender-neutral is the norm: the case of processing Punjabi forenames
收藏资源简介:
Self-paced reading data repository for Kaur et al. When gender-neutral is the norm: the case of processing Punjabi forenames. The sorted input data was imported in R (Version 4.6.0; R Core Team, 2026) and linear mixed effects models (LMEM) using the lme4 package (Bates et al., 2015) were employed for analysing the reading times at all the four positions (words) of sentences used in the experiment. The names of the zipped folders describe their respective contents. The SPR_Analysis_Output_R_Notebooks folder contains the R Notebooks of the LMEM analyses of the positional reading times; acceptability and probe; and the supplementary positional reading time analysis. These notebooks show the code, data and output in context, and provide full model summaries and details for all the models reported in the article. The R scripts themselves reside in a folder of their own. SPR_RawData folder contains the raw data files generated by PsychoPy 2024.2.4 software (Peirce et al., 2019) after each experiment. The plots generated at various stages of the analysis are in the SPR_Plots folder. Finally, the SPR_SupplementaryMaterial_Kauretal pdf file contains the additional information relevant to the article. References Bates, D., Mächler, M., Bolker, B., & Walker, S. (2015).
