资源简介:
Fc-gamma receptors are membrane-bound glycoproteins crucial for mediating immune responses through interactions with IgG antibodies. While human studies have linked Fc-gamma receptors gene polymorphisms to infection risk and disease progression, the understanding of Fc-gamma receptors genetic diversity in rhesus macaques, a key translational model for human health interventions, remains limited. This study employed long-read RNA sequencing to explore the genetic diversity of Fc-gamma receptors in 206 Indian-origin rhesus macaques, unveiling a variety of genetic variations. By indexing this genetic diversity using predicted and known rhesus macaque Fc-gamma receptors and Fc-Fc-gamma receptors structures, a foundation is laid for future studies. Understanding the functional significance of this genetic diversity will enhance the translation of antibody-mediated outcome studies performed in rhesus macaques to human applications.
