Pharmacotherapy-Related Factors and Medication Adherence in Older Outpatients: A Multicentre Cross-Sectional Dataset

This deposit contains the de-identified analytical dataset and Stata analysis code supporting a multicentre cross-sectional study of pharmacotherapy-related factors and medication adherence in 597 older adults attending two university outpatient clinics affiliated with the Brazilian public health system. Medication adherence was assessed using the Adherence to Treatment Measure. Pharmacotherapy-related variables included medication count, the Drug Burden Index, exposure to pharmacological cognitive risk identified using the STOPP-Cog medication list, and perceived treatment acceptability based on perceived treatment effectiveness and self-reported adverse events. Sociodemographic and clinical variables were included as covariates.
