Digitised, searchable Holle List in Stokhof (1980)

This repository contains the Cross-Linguistic Data Format (CLDF) dataset (Forkel et al. 2018) of the digitised, searchable Holle List (Holle 1894) in Stokhof (1980) (Rajeg 2023). Details and the interactive web version of the dataset can be accessed via https://engganolang.github.io/digitised-holle-list/. The work in this repository is part of the AHRC-funded research on Lexical resources for Enggano, a threatened language of Indonesia (AH/W007290/1) (visit the central webpage of the Enggano language research at https://enggano.ling-phil.ox.ac.uk/) Updates in version 1.5.1 Primary update: addressing issue #2 so that the CLDF dataset and the webpage can also be updated (#4) with commits between 1 Feb 2026 and 2 Feb 2026 The item/gloss-index with the "unspecified" marker (<unsp.>) in the Dutch gloss column (which then has several combining [e.g., IDa-IDc] or alternating/encompassing gloss-index [e.g., IDx/IDy]) is now given the English and Indonesian glosses by taking the individual English and Indonesian gloss(-indexes) (see Stokhof 1980: 19-21 for details) (see these changes in the holle-cldf.R script at 753b83e).
