Systematic analysis of MYC regulators identifies AKIRIN2 as an essential mediator of nuclear proteasome import

AKIRIN2 is an essential negative regulator of MYC protein levels. To test the specificity of AKIRIN2-dependent MYC regulation we performed unbiased protein quantification after inducible AKIRIN2- or Proteasome knockout und identified subsets of proteins accumulating after loss of AKIRIN2, Proteasomes or both.
