Excavation and Post-Excavation Data from Margetts Pit, Margetts Lane, Burham, Kent, 2009

This collection comprises the digital records and files created during the 2009 Wessex Archaeology Excavation at Margetts Pit, Margetts Lane, Burham, Kent and the subsequent post-excavation assessment and analysis. It also includes photogrammetric 3D object models of the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age armlets and roughouts, excavated as evidence of a substantial manufacturing industry at the site in the period. The excavations at Margetts Pit revealed evidence for activity dating from the Neolithic until the Saxon period. Much of this activity could be dated with some confidence on the basis of the associated finds and stratigraphy.
