资源简介:
The Stratospheric Observations of Noctilucent Clouds (SONC) experiment is a scientific balloon-borne experiment dedicated to studies noctilucent clouds (NLC) in the summer mesopause region (80-90 km altitude). The SONC experiment was performed on the TRANSAT transatlantic balloon flight, which flew between Sweden and Canada during 22-26 June 2024. About 6200 images were obtained during the TRANSAT flight appropriate for scientific analysis of NLC. The data demonstrate an overview of all images taken from the stratosphere by one wide angle camera of the SONC imager during the whole TRANSAT balloon flight on 22-26 June 2024. The TRANSAT balloon flight was performed by the French Space Agency (CNES).
