The research focuses on a special taxa of priapulids in the early Cambrian, including <i>Corynetis brevis</i> and <i>Corynetis fortis</i>. Through the observation of fossils in the Guanshan Biota, the technology of SEM and phylogenetic analysis. The detailed morphology of spiny ornmentations of <i>Corynetis</i> are revealed. The ecological analysis considered that <i>Corynetis</i> is solitary group, being bottom-dweller predators in the early Cambrian marine ecosystem.
