VPRS 11228 Committee Records

This series comprises a variety of documentation collected or created by the Subordinate Legislation Committee in the course of its activities.The basic function of the Committee was to review of subordinate legislation. Consequently the majority of the records within this series consist of the Statutory Rules and Acts examined by the Committee (refer to units 2-26 of the P1 consignment).The series also includes a range of documents created or collected by the Committee in the course of specific inquiries. These records include:* Correspondence or general inquiry files;* Transcripts of public hearings held during these inquiries, and* Reports made by the Committee.Also included are the minutes (period 1956-1982) and draft minutes (period 1964-1967) of the Committees meetings.
