Study small scale lithospheric convection in westernmost Mediterranean.Broadband instrument deployment across Morocco and southern Spain, extending from the Sahara desert across the Straits of Gibraltar to central Spain. Experiment goal is to examine lithospheric delamination/convective instabilities under the Alboran Sea, the Betics, Rif, and Atlas Mountains.
