Active Layer measurements were taken on a 30 plot subset within the Circumpolar Active Layer Monitoring (CALM) Grid in Atqasuk, Alaska. Each measurement was taken on the north eastern most corner of each plot. The chosen subset was located from E2-E6 and J2-J6. The SEL lab's thin depth probe (black tape on the handle) was used.
