This statistic shows the number of fatal, serious and slight road accidents that were caused by injudicious action factors in Great Britain (UK) in 2017. The majority of accidents with injudicious action factors were caused by drivers travelling too fast for the road conditions both in terms of slight and serious accidents. However, exceeding the speed limit was the cause for more fatal accidents.A good number of accidents caused by injudicious action, mostly slight and serious, were caused by drivers who followed too close in traffic, and made for slightly over 4,200 accidents in 2017.
