Volatile chemistry of the defensive secretions of millipedes common in China

This data set includes GC-MS chromatograms of 6 species of millipedes, including three species of Glyphiulus sp. (namely Glyphiulus sp. 1, Glyphiulus sp. 2, and Glyphiulus paramulunensis) from the order Spirostreptida, two species from the order Spirobolida (namely Trigoniulus corallinus and Paraspirobolus lucifugus), and Nepalmatoiulus sp. representing the order Julida. The sample names correspond to declared in the captions of published Figures in a chemical ecology manuscript in the journal Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology (DOI: 10.1016/j.pestbp.2025.106670; linked at the end).

Also, some videos of their interactions with ant workers of red imported fire ants (RIFA) are included.
