Transition tables are as follows. M1 machine performs simplest turn on/off with a specific tool for the operation. M2 is a turning machine, which performs the machining of mounting flange of the crankshaft. M3 is a milling machine, which performs the machining of main counterweight of the crankshaft. M4 is a milling machine, which performs 4 axis simultaneous machining of main counterweight of the crankshaft. M5 is a milling machine, which performs the machining of crank-pin journals of the crankshaft. M6 is a milling machine, which performs the profiling of crank-pin journals of the crankshaft. M7 is a milling machine, which performs the machining of key-ways of the crankshaft. MD is a measurement device, which performs the evaluation of the dimensional accuracy of the crankshaft. PL is a synchronized crankshaft machining plant. The transfer line consists of seven machines M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7 and a dimension measurement unit MD, linked by buffers B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7 in the sequence: M1,B1,M2,B2,M3,B3,M4,B4,M5,B5,M6,B6,M7,B7,MD
