Greek references in Granvelle's library and Erasmus' work

This dataset provides informations on Greek references on two types of sources. First, it provides informations about the Greek books in Granvelle's library (Nicolas and Antoine Perrenot de Granvelle) at Besançon (from the Inventory of 1627, Besançon). This dataset also provides informations about the references to John Chrysostom in Erasmus' production between his early projects (1519) and his last translations (1536). The Greek Church Father John Chrysostom was indeed a main reference to Erasmus'thought. It also includes the 1536 edition of John Chrysostom, prepared by Erasmus and Germain de Brie and published by Claude Chevallon, downloaded from Gallica.
