Whole genome resequencing of arrhenotokous and thelytokous strains of Thrips tabaci (onion thrips) were conducted to analyze the population genetic structure and gene flow among the T. tabaci strains and to estimate the evolutional origin and distribution of the sodium channel mutations (a major factor of the pyrethroid resistance) in T. tabaci.
