<p>The purpose of this study was to compare the attitudes of students remaining in a hall of residence after one year and those leaving (of their own free will) for other accommodation. The data cover university life and study, cultural activities, moral, political and religious differences and attitudes to authority. A subsidiary purpose of the survey was to note differences (if any) between the first, second and third years at university.</p><p><span style="background-color: rgb(245, 245, 245);">Users should analyse these data with caution, due to their age.</span>
