We looked at the Global Forest Change dataset and our own classified maps to see where there were areas of disagreement. We chose 200 points (for each case study) where there was disagreement and to better understand why the datasets disagreed. We used the high resolution satellite imagery available via PlanetLabs to assess to the best of our ability the real land use in each point, and ultimately deduced main explanations for dissimilarity. <br> These data correspond to Kinnebrew et al. 2022 (PLOS ONE) DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0268970
