GRACE downscaled TWSA product using Mascon wise Mass Conservation (MMC) approach for the period 2004-2023

This dataset provides gridded estimates of GRACE Total Water Storage Anomalies (TWSA) over India for the period 2004-2023 at a spatial resolution of 0.5° and monthly temporal intervals. The product is developed using a mascon-wise mass conservation (MMC) approach, which preserves the original GRACE signal at native resolution while improving spatial representation at finer scales. The dataset is distributed in NetCDF (.nc) format (MMC_downscaled_TWSA_2004_2023.nc) and includes key variables such as time, latitude, longitude, and TWSA. In addition to the data, the repository provides all scripts used for downscaling to ensure full reproducibility. Example data (GRACE_downscaling_example.zip), along with all required input files, are also provided to facilitate easy understanding and implementation of the workflow. Detailed step-by-step instructions for running the code are included in the README file, guiding users through data preparation, and script execution.
