R Scripts for Hydrological Data Processing and Flood Frequency Analysis across Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri (1960–2020)

This repository contains the R scripts accompanying the dataset Hydrological Dataset on Flood Magnitude and Recurrence Analysis across Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri (1960–2020). The code supports the full analytical workflow used to generate the published data products, including hydrologic data preparation, quality control, flood frequency estimation, and recurrence interval analysis based on USGS peak flow records from 1960 to 2020. The published script assumes that NWIS-derived raw files have already been cleaned and standardized to the variable names used in the released dataset. These scripts are shared as a reproducible supplement to the dataset and may be used to understand, verify, or adapt the methodology for related hydrologic studies.
