CLINICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF LYMPHOTHERAPY AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE IN REHABILITATION

This article provides a scientific analysis of the clinical and physiological foundations of lymphotherapy methods in the correction of pathological conditions associated with dysfunction of the lymphatic system. The study highlights the role of the lymphatic system in fluid exchange, immunological defense, and the removal of metabolic waste products. The effects of manual lymphatic drainage, device-based pneumatic compression, and complex physiotherapeutic procedures on lymph flow, microcirculation, and the functional state of tissues were evaluated. Clinical observations revealed that lymphotherapy reduces the volume of edema, activates tissue drainage processes, and improves overall functional status. The results confirm that lymphotherapy is a pathogenetically grounded and effective adjunct method in rehabilitation medicine.
