NRS-12142 | Copies of Letters Patent issued by the Governor to Royal Commissioners

The Royal Commissioners appointed by Letters Patent were directed to certify their findings in the Office of the Premier. This volume includes copies of the Letters Patent which were used in the Premier's Department. They indicate the signatories of the original documents, and are glued into the volume in chronological order. As well as the official Royal greeting, signed by the Governor, the documents contain a section signed by the Under Secretary, Colonial Secretary's Office, certifying that they have been entered on Record in the Register of Patents and have been assigned a number.(X952). 1 vol.Note:This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
