Mycobacterium bovis is the causative agent of bovine tuberculosis. The phoPR system is a two component protein system that regulates many mycobacterial processes. M. bovis PhoPR knocout mutants were constructed on this project to study how the absence of PhoPR affects genetic regulation. The data in this bioproject is the Illumina RNA sequencing reads of wild type M. bovis AF2122/97 and M. bovis AF2122/97 phoPR knockouts aligned to the reference genome LT708304.
