资源简介:
This transcriptome dataset was generated to investigate gene expression differences between branches of Eucalyptus camaldulensis seedlings that develop spontaneous adventitious roots and branches from normal seedlings. The transcriptome analysis is part of a study characterizing a novel phenomenon in which spontaneous adventitious roots form in some Eucalyptus camaldulensis seedlings. This phenomenon was first observed in Israel and has since been detected in seedlings from several locations across the country. Seedlings grown under similar environmental conditions differ in their rooting behavior: some seedlings produce numerous adventitious roots ARV adventitious root forming variants, while others produce few or no adventitious roots NV non variant plants. The cause of this variation between neighboring seedlings grown under the same conditions and originating from the same seed source remains unknown. The objective of the transcriptome analysis was to identify differences in gene expression between these two plant types. Branch samples were collected from NV seedlings and ARV seedlings .Plant material was obtained from Keren Kayemet LeYisrael nurseries and subsequently grown at the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Rehovot. Sampling was conducted in 2023 from young branches of four-year-old seedlings. Each sample consisted of a composite of five branches and included non-lignified stem segments, semi-lignified stem segments, mature leaves, young leaves, and apical tissues.
