资源简介:
In this study, coking wastewater was pretreated by activated carbon fiber (ACF) activated eroxymonosulfate (PMS), which in turn enhanced the biological treatment performance in the subsequent sequencing batch reactor (SBR). ACF exhibited superior adsorption and catalytic capabilities, and the removal of COD, phenol (Ph) and chromaticity (chroma) in coking wastewater reached 75.4, 97.8 and 98.3%, respectively, and the BOD5/COD value was 0.82, after 90 min reaction. The organic pollutants in the coking wastewater were gradually degraded by the reactive oxygen species (ROSs) that produced in the ACF/PMS system, and the toxicity of the wastewater was simultaneously reduced. The COD removal efficiency of coking wastewater was increased from 72.9 to 96.7% by ACF/PMS pretreatment combined with SBR biological treatment. The number of functional bacteria in the degradation process of organic pollutants increased significantly and the biodegradability of the wastewater was enhanced after pretreatment with ACF/PMS system.
