Macroalgae Image Classification Dataset — Validation Subset (Fucus, Laminaria, Ulva)

This dataset contains 30 labeled photographic images of intertidal marine macroalgae belonging to three genera: Fucus, Laminaria, and Ulva, selected as a representative validation subset from the corpus used in the associated publication. Each image carries a single image-level class label and is provided without pixel-level segmentation annotations. The images were acquired at coastal locations and exhibit variability in illumination, scale, orientation, and substrate type. This subset is intended to allow independent verification of the classification and weakly supervised segmentation results reported in the paper.
