Deep mutational Scanning of HIV Env BF520 selected for usage of macaque and human CD4/CCR5 receptors

This study utilized deep mutational scanning to identify HIV env mutations that improved infection of cells bearing either macaque or human CD4/CCR5 receptors. The Env strain used for the deep mutational scanning library was BF520.W14M.C2. Data included in this submission are 250bp paired-end Illumina sequencing of deep mutational scanning libraries before, and after infection of cells bearing either human or macaque receptors. Data from parallel sequencing of wild type BF520 DNA, and wild type BF520 viruses are also included, and used as error controls in analysis.
