NRS-3401 | Working papers [Judge Advocate's Bench]

This is a collection of small bundles, each of which corresponds to a single meeting of the Bench. They consist of summonses issued to the Chief Constable for people to appear before the Bench that day, some informations and depositions, weekly returns of the price of wheat and other produce at the market - so that the Bench could determine the weekly price of bread. These returns are all addressed to Judge-Advocate Wylde. There are also copies of depositions from the Windsor Bench, 31 December 1816, 14 and 21 April 1817; and the Liverpool Bench 7 April 1824 relating to the case Robinson v Klensendorlff1816-18, 1824 (4/6902). 1 box.
