Physical oceanography measured with CTD during PU2024 in the north-eastern Kara Sea in July-August 2024

Oceanographic data were collected in the north-eastern Kara Sea during the "Floating University 2024" cruise onboard the R/V "Professor Molchanov" from July 31 to August 4, 2024. A total of 50 Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) casts were conducted at stations 42 to 92, excluding station 55 where no CTD measurements were taken. The casts were performed using a SBE 19plus V2 CTD probe operating at a sampling frequency of 4 Hz. This dataset is suitable for analyzing the vertical thermohaline structure in the upper 50 meters of the water column.
