The aim of this study was to evaluate the mycobiome in the lumen of a cohort of subjects which included IBD patients and controls. In parallel we wanted to understand primers performances, therefore, if for all the samples 18S rRNA was sequenced, for a portion of samples also the ITS2 was sequenced.
