Emerging Occurrence of Gambierdiscus carolinianus in the Azores: Morphometric data of Gambierdiscus carolinianus from the Azores

This dataset contains the morphometric data used in the study “Emerging Occurrence of Gambierdiscus carolinianus in the Azores: the northernmost Atlantic record”. Measurements were obtained from strain IPMA-GBAZ01 using epifluorescence microscopy with Calcofluor White staining. Parameters include dorso-ventral depth (DV), cell width (W), antero-posterior length (L), apical pore plate dimensions, and thecal plate ratios (R1, R2, R3). These data were used for comparison with previously published morphometric profiles of Gambierdiscus species from Macaronesia and elsewhere.
