Levilactobacillus brevis strain: M3R3 Raw sequence reads

The aim of this study was to comprehensively evaluate the bile salt hydrolase (BSH) activity, probiotic potential, and genomic safety of Levilactobacillus brevis M3R3, a strain isolated from traditional Sicilian sourdough. Specifically, the research focused on assessing the strain's ability to deconjugate bile salts through functional assays and UHPLC/HR-MS analysis, as well as investigating its tolerance to bile salt-induced stress. In addition, whole-genome sequencing and in silico analysis were performed to identify genes associated with BSH activity and to further support the probiotic potential and safety of strain M3R3.
