The MATLAB implementation presented here renders the original grayscale image prior to encryption, wherein each pixel intensity is defined within the standard 8-bit range (0 to 255), with 0 representing black and 255 denoting white. The encryption methodology employs a novel 4D hyperchaotic system, characterized by its non-linear dynamics and sensitivity to initial conditions, to transform pixel values and secure digital content. This system ensures robust encryption by leveraging the intrinsic unpredictability of chaotic trajectories, thereby obscuring spatial correlations and statistical patterns inherent in the original image. The proposed algorithm is explicitly designed to address vulnerabilities in conventional encryption schemes, offering enhanced security for applications in digital communications and data storage.
