We assembled one mock community of planktonic organisms to assess the accuracy of metabarcoding pipelines and species recovery based on sequencing the 18S rRNA V4 region using two NGS platforms, Roche 454 and Illumina MiSeq.This dataset only refers to the sequences generated from the Illumina pair-end 2x300bp MiSeq run.
