The research proffers solutions for the bioremediation of recalcitrant high molecular weight PAHs in microaerobic wetlands, a long-standing research gap. In this research we provide evidence that the synergistic combination of soil amendments rich in nitrogen combined with improved aeration can lead to increased PAH degradation in saturated sediments. We believe that the readers of this journal will be interested in our findings.
