A fast link between face perception and memory in the temporal pole

FaceObjectFamiliarityExperiment.mat: Contains z-Scores and average binned firing rate (10 ms) per neuron (98 for TP, 130 for AM) and per stimulus(205) in the time range -100:700 ms (the time range analyzed in the paper, with 0 to 200 ms being the time during which the stimulus was presented), smoothed using a 5-point average filter. The category of stimuli is in the variable 'labels': human familiar face (hf), monkey familiar face (mf), familiar object (of), human unfamiliar face (hn), monkey unfamiliar face (mn), unfamiliar object (on), unfamiliar body (bn), gray background (gb). While the gray background was the same picture for the 5 stimuli, all other stimuli were of different identities for each category. Data are available as Matlab (.mat) file. The raw data supporting this study is not deposited in this repository because of its complexity and large size, but are available from the corresponding authors upon reasonable request.
