The rhizosphere microbial community of wild snd domesticated hexaploid wheats

We compared the root surface microbiome (rhizosphere) of a diploid wheat ancestor, Triticum dicoccoides, with modern hexaploid wheat Triticum aestivum. Both species grew in a wheat field in Israel, with the wild wheat as an incidental weed within the domesticated crop.
