资源简介:
Photograph of Navaho Indians crossing the Little Colorado River, ca.1900. A man on a horse leads the way for a horse drawn carriage and its three passengers to cross the two-feet deep river. One horseman follows closely behind, while two others are making their way down the riverbank. The Indians are dressed in cowboy-like (or pioneer-like) outfits, and several of them are wearing hats. Reflections of the Indians, their horses, and carriage can be seen in the river. To the right, above the riverbank, is a pyramid-shaped contraption with a wire attached to its peak. It appears to be routed to the other side of the river.
