The raw proteomic sequencing data of F. hepatica were obtained from the iProX database (https://www.iprox.cn/; Project ID: IPX0002165000). The dataset includes mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomic data from four developmental stages of F. hepatica: (1) Metacercaria (infected Galba pervia were cultured under suitable conditions for 30–45 days, during which cercariae emerged and underwent cyst formation, and the metacercariae were collected), (2) Juvenile fluke (worms extracted from the livers of sheep artificially infected with metacercariae for 28 days), (3) Immature fluke (worms extracted from the livers of sheep artificially infected with metacercariae for 59 days), and (4) Adult fluke (worms extracted from the livers of sheep artificially infected with metacercariae for 118 days) [PMID: 32757109]. The most recent FASTA format protein sequences of F. hepatica were downloaded from the UniProt database on October 12, 2024, using the keyword “Fasciola hepatica”. Proteomic raw data analysis was conducted using MaxQuant v2.6.5.0, extracting key columns from the proteinGroups file, including peptide counts, LFQ intensity values, coverage, molecular weight, and FASTA headers. Furthermore, Z-score standardization was applied to normalize the LFQ intensity column.
