本数据集是维多利亚湖流域内估算的五国16子流域共20个子流域单元1981-2020年历史时段和2021-2050年未来时段年水压力指数数据。水压力指数（WSI）是按照联合国认可的考虑环境需水量计算的水压力指数，是需水量与扣除了环境需水量后的可利用水资源量的比值。包括20个流域单元历年年尺度和月尺度的水压力指数，另外专门形成了1981-2020年、2021-2035年和2036-2050年三个时段枯水年的数据。

This dataset contains annual Water Scarcity Index (WSI) data for 20 sub-basin units spanning 16 sub-basins across five riparian countries within the Lake Victoria Basin, covering the historical period 1981–2020 and the future projection period 2021–2050.

The Water Scarcity Index (WSI), computed per UN-endorsed methodologies that incorporate environmental water requirements, is defined as the ratio of total water demand to the available water resources after deducting environmental water demand.

This dataset includes both annual and monthly WSI data for all 20 sub-basin units. Additionally, dedicated low-flow year datasets are developed for three specific time periods: 1981–2020, 2021–2035, and 2036–2050.
