GENERAL POPULATION AWARENESS ON BASIC LIFE SUPPORT IN HARYANA: A SURVEY STUDY

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Basic Life Support (BLS) is essential because it preserves the life and maintains the viability of patients with life-threatening diseases or injuries until a group of paramedics or hospital professionals can offer specialist treatment. Serious injuries and respiratory problems can arise from a variety of situations. The population's confidence to respond promptly when necessary and degree of reluctance are considerably increased and decreased by BLS awareness among those who have relatives with heart conditions.This study was conducted to investigated the awareness of BLS among general population.
