Canadian Gallup Poll, August 1993, #010t

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions on the upcoming election, Ontario politics, government taxes, and questions related to political party preference. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as ratings on the quality of goods produced in countries around the world, the government sales tax, and opinions of free trade with the United States and Mexico, and government spending on poorer regions. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables. Topics of interest include: election; government leadership; government spending; free trade; quality of goods produced; and political party preference. Basic demographic variables are also included.
