Analysis of continuous outcome when the data include a large proportion of zeroes (supporting information)

This spreadsheet was designed to help reviewers for the NHSBT Systematic Review Initiative convert means and SDs between units of blood transfused per person randomised (PPR) and per person transfused (PPT), depending on what was reported and what analysis is preferred. It will work as long as both the number randomised and the number transfused are known, along with the mean and standard deviation for either all randomised or all transfused. It will work for any comparable data.
